The debate rages on. When is the best time to move a family -- during the summer, or when school is in session? There is no definitive answer, but the decision should be based on the personality of your children, how well they acclimate to a new situation, and how they feel about the move.
Some professionals say that moving during the summer can result in a lonely few months for the children. Making friends is difficult with families traveling for vacation, neighborhood children already registered for local camps and established friendships occupying a child's hours. Unless you have surveyed the new neighborhood and made arrangements to occupy your children's summer days, the doldrums will set in and children will mope and decry why mom and dad made them leave their friends.
Conversely, a move during the school year pulls children away from their established friendships, after-school activities and routines. BUT -- putting them into a school during the year gives them an opportunity to make new friends. Children love to take a new child under their wings and before long, your children will be so busy and involved in their new lives that they won't have time to mope.
Besides, there's always Skype or Facetime!

"When I sold my home I interviewed many Companies. Knowing most buyers come from the internet I was looking for a Company with a strong internet presence. I googled some terms like, "Lake Worth Homes For Sale" and "homes for sale in Lake Worth", and almost every time Exit Realty Premier was on the first page of Google. Then when I met with the agent from Exit Realty Premier and saw the HD photographs, aerial photos, on line visual tours and videos and all the technology I was sold. I signed with them and sold my home in record time, for the price I wanted and had a smooth quick closing. My agent was very professional and knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way.
