Choosing a RealtorThe 2015 National Association of Realtors Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers revealed that 89% of sellers sold their home with an agent last year. It also notes that only 8% were For Sale By Owners, which is down from 9% the last 3 years.
Obviously, having an agent is key to selling your home. Homes represented by an agent sell faster, transact for more money and are less stressful than if you were going at it alone.
Some key questions to ask when choosing an agent
1) What sort of marketing plan will you use?
You want to make sure your home is being seen by as many prospective buyers as possible. The success of a home sale relies on a great marketing campaign.
2) How are you compensated?
Don't be afraid to talk about money from the get go. You should understand the percentage he or she will command once the home is sold.
3) Do you work alone or with a team?
Some agents work as part of a team, so you will want to know whether the person you hire will be the one doing the work, or if a member of the support team will be doing the work. You may like a particular agent, but if they farm the work off to people you haven't met, the process may not meet your expectations. Here at the Volk team, when you hire Sheryl & Elliott Volk, you get Sheryl & Elliott!

"Among the real estate brokers that 1've worked with, Mrs. Margarita Zhemukhova is the only one that 1 felt comfortable and gave me an ease of mind to work with. She is responsible , conscientious , hard working and reliable agent. I would recommend her to all my families and my friends for real estate"
