Moving into a single family home as a renter in an area where the homes are mostly privately owned can be challenging. Oftentimes you will encounter a homeowner in the area that will report you to the community HOA for violating one or more of the association rules even if you haven’t done anything wrong. The reason for this isn’t because they don’t necessarily like you, it’s because they just don’t like renters in the area. And the reason for this is that they believe having renters in the area will cause their property value to decrease due to neglect of the rental property itself because they expect that the renter will do nothing to maintain or improve the appearance of the property. Unfortunately this scenario is more common than you think. The best way to handle this is to reassure your neighbors that you are not a typical renter. Once you move into your new rental home go out of your way to be friendly with all your neighbors and spend some time working around the outside of your home to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Some inexpensive things to do, while the neighbors are watching, are to rake the lawn, pick weeds out of the flower beds, wash the windows, put down some fresh mulch, trim the hedges, sweep the driveway and whatever you can do that costs little to no money. Of course any major maintenance concerns should be addressed with the landlord or property maintenance company. These are just a few things that you can do to make you noticed as a caring renter and can help to avoid any issues down the road.

Home Flips Plunge as Distressed Inventory Dries Up Share Sep
"When I sold my home I interviewed many Companies. Knowing most buyers come from the internet I was looking for a Company with a strong internet presence. I googled some terms like, "Lake Worth Homes For Sale" and "homes for sale in Lake Worth", and almost every time Exit Realty Premier was on the first page of Google. Then when I met with the agent from Exit Realty Premier and saw the HD photographs, aerial photos, on line visual tours and videos and all the technology I was sold. I signed with them and sold my home in record time, for the price I wanted and had a smooth quick closing. My agent was very professional and knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way.
