Thanksgiving-style Wine Dinner

Doris Italian Market will help raise funds for Impact Broward by hosting a food and wine event featuring over 100 wine samples and a buffet of authentic Italian cuisine and artisan cheese samples. Guests will receive a $10 credit toward a wine purchase with their tickets.

Whole Foods Holiday Demo and Tasting
Burlock Coast chef Gavin Pera will host a holiday demonstration and tasting featuring healthy and non-traditional menu items (poached beets salad, Chilean sea bass with truffle Yukon potatoes and bread pudding) for those looking to change it up this season. Guests can enjoy the three-course menu while the chef demonstrates how to prepare these dishes. Space is open to the first 20 people who RSVP here.

Help provide more than 1,200 families with a Thanksgiving meal by assembling and delivering baskets with the Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center. Volunteers can also donate children’s toys for the upcoming holiday season.

Fort Lauderdale Turkey Trot
Get decked out in your craziest Thanksgiving-themed attire, and join more than 3,000 participants in this 5K run or walk along A1A, featuring Orangetheory Fitness founder Ellen Latham as this year's grand marshal. Turkey Trot participants can bring non-perishable food items to donate to Feeding South Florida on the day of the race.

4 Rivers Smokehouse
This new Coral Springs barbecue outpost is letting smoked brisket lovers place holiday orders online in advance of Thanksgiving. Catering options include a full smoked turkey or beef brisket ($69.99 - $129.99); a fixins package of mashed potatoes, classic gravy, cornbread stuffing, green beans, sweet potato casserole and cranberry chutney ($49.99 for 4 to 6 people); additional a la carte sides including collard greens, slaw, and mac n' cheese ($9.99 per quart); and pies from caramel apple to Texas bourbon pecan ($29.99 each).
Orders must be placed online at by Nov. 19. Dishes will be cold at the time of pickup and require reheating.
Pick up a whole roast turkey and traditional sides—sweet potato and naranja salad, bread stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, orange cranberry sauce, pumpkin or apple pie, and more—for a group of six to eight people ($195).
Orders must be placed by Nov. 21 and picked up on Thanksgiving day between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For $95, groups of six to eight can indulge in a fuss-free Thanksgiving dinner at home. Shooters will cater a full 15-pound slow-roasted herb turkey, traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, green beans, mac and cheese, corn succotash, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls with honey butter, spiced pumpkin cheesecake, and caramel apple cobbler.

Feel like celebrating Turkey Day with some fried chicken? Spring Chicken's Family Meals—including the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of a full chicken and two large sides or the Tender Love with 12 breaded chicken tenders and two large sides—can be taken to-go for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Large catering orders must be phoned in ahead of time by calling 954.780.3050. Smaller Thanksgiving orders can also be made on the day of at Spring Chicken for carry out or dine-in.
